Taxonomy
Marhwaseaphyllum hastatum was named by Srivastava (1984). It is not extant. Its type locality is Nidhpuri, which is in a Triassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Nidhpuri Formation of India. It is the type species of Marhwaseaphyllum.
