Taxonomy
Lycophocyon tabrumi was named by Lofgren et al. (2020). It is not extant. Its type specimen is RAM 18619, a partial skull. Its type locality is Rapamys Site, Black Butte I, which is in an Uintan/Duchesnean fluvial siltstone in Montana.
