Taxonomy
Agriotherium aecuatorialis was named by Morales et al. (2005). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NK 497'91, a tooth (right m/2). Its type locality is NK115, Nkondo, which is in a Miocene/Zanclean lacustrine horizon in the Nkondo Formation of Uganda.
