Leptarctus ancipidens
Taxonomy
Mephititaxus ancipidens was named by White (1941) [genotype; type locality is Thomas Farm]. Its type specimen is MCZ. 3658, a maxilla (right and left [upper] P2-M1), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Leptarctus ancipidens by Olsen (1957), Wagner and Reynolds (1983), Lim and Miao (2000), Korth and Baskin (2009) and Baskin (2017).
