Taxonomy
Notharctus minutus was named by Loomis (1906). It is not extant.
It was recombined as Omomys minutus by Matthew (1915), Simpson (1940), Gazin (1958), Guthrie (1967) and Szalay (1976); it was recombined as Anemorhysis minutus by McKenna (1960); it was recombined as Loveina minuta by Bown and Rose (1984) and Holroyd and Strait (2008).
