Bolivina frondea was named by Cushman (1922). It is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Lankesterina.
It was recombined as Lankesterina frondea by Loeblich and Tappan (1961); it was recombined as Polymorphina frondea by Cushman and Ozawa (1930), Bertels (1964).
