Taxonomy
Cretaxenomerus tenuipenna was named by Ulmer and Krogmann (2023). Its type specimen is LU 623I, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
