Aphanostephanus janzeni
Taxonomy
Electrostephanus janzeni was named by Engel (2005). Its type specimen is KU-NHM-ENT B-158, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (University of Kansas SEMC Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Aphanostephanus.
It was recombined as Aphanostephanus janzeni by Ge and Tan (2023).
