Oecophylla kraussei
Taxonomy
Camponotites kraussei was named by Dlussky and Rasnitsyn (1999). Its type specimen is UWBM 78047, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Republic, UWBM locality B4876, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Klondike Mountain Formation of Washington.
It was recombined as Oecophylla kraussei by Perfilieva et al. (2017) and Archibald et al. (2024).
