Roemerolites was named by Dubatolov (1963) [Sepkoski's age data: D Sieg D Fras-u]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Roemeriidae by Hill (1981); to Tabulata by Sepkoski (2002); and to Syringoporidae by Zapalski (2012).
