Taxonomy
Canadaphis ugolyaki was named by Ogłaza and Wegierek (2024). Its type specimen is PIN 3631/22, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Taimyr amber, Ugolyak (PIN collection 3631), which is in a Santonian fluvial amber in the Kheta Formation of the Russian Federation.
