Taxonomy
Isometopsallops prokopi was named by Vernoux et al. (2010). Its type specimen is MNHN A 30851, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Oise amber, Le Quesnoy, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in the Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of France.
It was recombined as Cativolcus prokopi by Szwedo (2024).
