Archaeromma chisatoi was named by Aiba and Inose (2024). Its type specimen is FM-N202200057, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Iwaki amber, which is in a Coniacian terrestrial amber in the Tamayama Formation of Japan.
