Taxonomy
Acanthogyra parvisepta was named by Eliasova (1973). Its type specimen is HF 133, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stramberk reef, Czechia, which is in a Tithonian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Stramberk Limestone Formation of Czechia.
