Ooscyta chertoprudi

Taxonomy
Ooscyta chertoprudi was named by Shcherbakov (2024). Its type specimen is PIN 2781/142, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karaungir-II (PIN collection 2781), which is in a Changhsingian lacustrine mudstone in the Akkolka Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Ooscyta.
