Hyaenodon lingbaoensis
Taxonomy
Hyaenodon lingbaoensis was named by Li et al. (2025). Its type specimen is IVPP V31989, a maxilla (left partial maxilla with DP3-M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chuankou, Lingbao (Paleogene), which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Chuankuo Formation of China.
