Taxonomy
Striatopora was named by Hall (1851) [Sepkoski's age data: S Ldov-m S Ludl Sepkoski's reference number: 711]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Pachyporidae.

It was assigned to Striatoporidae by Termier and Termier (1980); to Pachyporinae by May (1993); to Tabulata by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pachyporidae by Hill (1981), Niko (2005).
