Lunataspis gundersoni
Taxonomy
Lunataspis gundersoni was named by Lamsdell et al. (2025). Its type specimen is UWGM 4087, a skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Big Hill Lagerstatte, Stonington Peninsula, which is in a Richmondian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Big Hill Formation of Michigan.
