Taxonomy
Balkhanomeandra roniewiczae was named by Bugrova (2021). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bolshoi Balkhan Ridge, Shakhliburun Ridge, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Arlan Formation of Turkmenistan.
