Laopsyllidium daohugouensis
Taxonomy
Laopsyllidium daohugouensis was named by Hakim and Huang (2025). Its type specimen is NIGP205637, an exoskeleton (forewing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Laopsyllidium.
