Styringomyia caridadi

Taxonomy
Styringomyia caridadi was named by Kopeć et al. (2026). Its type specimen is NMS G.2019.6.3, an exoskeleton (wing), and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (National Museums Scotland NMS collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
