Protomarctus optatus

Taxonomy
Tomarctus optatus was named by Matthew (1924). Its type locality is Thomson Quarry, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Sheep Creek Formation of Nebraska.

It was recombined as Protomarctus optatus by Wang et al. (1999) and Wang et al. (2008).
