Eptesicus campanensis was named by Baudelot (1970). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MNHN Sa 13500, a mandible (Mand. fragm. sin. with C, p4, m2, m3).

Mandibule robuste à apophyse mentonnière prenant naissance sous p2; foramen mentonnier situé sous p2 à mi-hauteur de la branche horizontale;c4 et p4 rapprochées, d'ou la réduction de p2;
canine pourvue d'un cingulum interrompu seulement au milieu de la face mésiale; fort cingulum entourant la base de p4, formant dans le coin mésial-interne un angle droit et dessinant un rebord
distal développé; m2 et m3 portant un cingulum basal excepté sur leurs faces linguales; talonide m2 un peu plus court que trigonide; talonide m3 bas et réduit transversalement; molaires à cuspides
bien individualisées, montrant un hypoconide relié directement à l'entoconide.
