| R.C. Baron-Szabo 2021 | Colonial, massive, lamellar, thamnasterioid. Budding extracalicular and extracalicular-marginal. Costosepta compact with occasionally perforated axial ends, confluent to nonconfluent, laterally granulate and carinate. Columella generally variably and well-developed, including spongy-papillose, mesh-like formed by thin trabecular segments, or made of a single or small number of sublamellar portions. Synapticulae present. Intertrabecular distance ranging between 150 and 500 μm in septa. Endothecal dissepiments thin, subtabulate. Wall is an incomplete synapticulotheca or absent. |
