Taxonomy
Dimorphomeandra was named by Alloiteau (1958) [Sepkoski's age data: J Oxfo-u K Sepkoski's reference number: 658]. It is not extant. Its type is Dimorphomeandra besairiei.

It was assigned to Latomeandridae by Roniewicz (1976); and to Dermosmiliidae by Pandey and Fürsich (2003).
