Taxonomy
Eohydnophora sanchuensis was named by Yamagiwa et al. (1998). Its type locality is Naranokidaira (Loc. 1) - Sanchu Group, which is in a Barremian marine sandstone/sandstone in the Ishido Formation of Japan.
