Tiphia shanwangensis

Taxonomy
Brachyopteris shanwangensis was named by Hong (1984). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 79/80 (Beijing Museum), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China. It is the type species of Brachyopteris.

It was recombined as Tiphia shanwangensis by Hong (1984) and Zhang (1989).
