Limois shanwangensis

Taxonomy

Oxycephala shanwangensis was named by Hong (1979). Its type specimen is Sht73/1001, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection Sht, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.

It was recombined as Limois shanwangensis by Zhang (1989), Zhang et al. (1994), Szwedo et al. (2004).

Synonyms

Hylophylax erromena was named by Lin (1982). Its type specimen is Shandong Museum 750118, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 5, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Limois shanwangensis by Zhang et al. (1994), Szwedo et al. (2004).
Fulgoropsis fusca was named by Hong (1984). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 79/80 (Beijing Museum), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Limois shanwangensis by Zhang (1989), Szwedo et al. (2004).
Oxycephala xiejiaheensis was named by Hong (1984). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection Dong, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Limois shanwangensis by Zhang (1989), Szwedo et al. (2004).
