Taxonomy
Cardium (Trigoniocardia) cabopasadum was named by Pilsbry and Olsson (1941). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Zone B (upper) - Jama Formation, which is in a Pliocene shoreface sandstone in the Jama Formation of Ecuador.
