Moerella macilenta

Taxonomy
Tellina (Angulus) macilenta was named by Dall (1900) [DISTRIBUTION: Early-Late Pliocene; Atlantic Coastal Plain.]. Its type specimen is USNM 115045, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Tellina (Moerella) macilenta by Mansfield (1932), Gardner (1943); it was recombined as Moerella macilenta by Hendy et al. (2008).
