G. D. Koufos et al. 1991After Delson ( 1973, p. 506) and Szalay & Delson (1979, p. 411) . Colobine monkey of moderately large size; pronounced sexual dimorphism in canine-P3 complex; mandibular corpus depth constant between M, and P,; the P, is relatively narrow with equal-sized metaconid and protoconid; no sixth cuspid in M,; the mesial lophid of M, is wider than the distal of M,; the hypoconulid of M, is placed between the midline and the line joining the buccal cuspids.
