T. Kormos 1930Massiver und robuster als Eptesicus serotinus. Das Foramen mentale befindet sich genau under dem p3 - bei E. serotinus unter der vorderen Wurzel des p4 -; Temporalgrube sehr tief; Porcessus coronoideus oben weniger abgerundet als bei E. serotinus; Processus angularis viel breiter, auf der lingualen Seite mit einer Rinne, auf der labialen aber mit zwei scharfen Kanten, deren eine under dem Condylus, die andere in der Mitte des Angularforsatzes beginnt; massetergrube tief, mit starker Muskelanhaftstelle, am Alveolarrand - vom m3 bis zum Condylus - mit einer kräftigen Leiste, Zähne massiv, mit starkem Basalband; sonst in der Gestalt von jenen des E. serotinus kaum verschieden.
