Taxonomy
Koninckocarinia minima was named by Yu (1982). Its type specimen is SI-580 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Qinglongshan, Lower Chuanshan Fm, Yixing County, which is in an Asselian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Chuanshan Formation of China.
