Assimulia (Assimulia) tergida
Taxonomy
Stereostylus tergidus was named by Ross and Ross (1962). Its type specimen is YPM 21815 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YPM 68, Hill 5305, Hess Ranch Horst, Glass Mountains, which is in an Artinskian marine shale/limestone in the Lenox Hills Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Assimulia (Assimulia) tergida by Fedorowski (1987).
