Taxonomy
Holasaphus moorei was named by Raymond (1913). Its type specimen is GSC 7823, a pygidium, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Goniotelina moorei by Desbiens et al. (1996); it was recombined as Acidiphorus moorei by Brett and Westrop (1996).
