Taxonomy
Perissophlebia multiseriata was named by Tillyard (1918). Its type specimen is GSQI203, a wing (Apical fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1915-1916 collection), which is in a Norian pond siltstone in the Blackstone Formation of Australia.
