Taxonomy
Colocrus magnum was named by Staniczek (2007). Its type specimen is SMNS 66624, a nymph, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
