Euphylax callinectias
Taxonomy
Euphylax callinectias was named by Rathbun (1918). Its type specimen is USNM 324252, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 5882j, Rio Banano, which is in a Piacenzian marine siliciclastic in the Rio Banano Formation of Costa Rica.
