Taxonomy
Orthophlebia quadrimacula was named by Lin (1982). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Qingjing River, Zhichang County, which is in a Jurassic terrestrial siliciclastic in the Zhiluo Formation of China.
It was recombined as Orthophlebia (Dolichophlebia) quadrimacula by Hong and Zhang (2007).
