Cryptocoelus major
Taxonomy
Cryptocoelus major was named by Dolin and Nel (2002). Its type specimen is MNHN-LP-R.55226, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chaomidian Village (MNHN coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large shale in the Yixian Formation of China.
