Taxonomy
Burmodipteromantispa jiaxiaoae was named by Liu et al. (2016). Its type specimen is PCXJ BA-0007, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (Century Amber Museum/Xiao Jia collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
