Myrmecoboides arenarius

Taxonomy
Myrmecoboides arenarius was named by Secord (2008). Its type specimen is YPM-PU 21301, a mandible (Left dentary with m1-3 ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cedar Point Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian fluvial-lacustrine siliciclastic in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
