Dysanabatium kechrimparense was named by Bogri et al. (2018). Its type specimen is 01_NHMD_193162, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Danish Amber (University of Copenhagen ZMUC, NHMD Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Denmark.
