Crash bandicoot
Taxonomy
Crash bandicoot was named by Travouillon et al. (2014). Its type specimen is QM F56245, a maxilla (right maxilla containing M1-3 and the alveoli for M4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AL90 Site, which is in a Miocene cave horizon in Australia. It is the type species of Crash.
