Cystispina cystispina

Taxonomy
Phillibole (Cystispina) cystispina was named by Richter and Richter (1939) [Phillibole? (Cystispina) cystispina]. Its type specimen is X 4942a-b, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Steinbruch an der alten Straße am Pferdsberg, südlich Frankenau, which is in an Asbian/Brigantian carbonate limestone in the Hillershausen Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Phillibole (Cystispina).

It was recombined as Cystispina cystispina by Müller (2008).

Keine Ocellen nachweisbar. Wan- gen-Stachel vertikal nach oben und unten stark aufgebläht. Pygidium mäßig lang mit mäßig langer Rhachis.
