Australokaskia coulteri

Taxonomy
Phillipsia coulteri was named by Mitchell (1918) [= 1984 Paladin (Kaskia) cf. arduennensis; Engel & Morris, p. 33. = 1986 Paladin (Kaskia) cf. arduennensis; Hahn et al., p. 99.]. Its type specimen is AMF 28627, a cephalon/head (internal mould of dorsal shield), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NU L404. Nooroo - Stroud Road cutting, Nooroo, which is in a Visean marine mudstone/siltstone in the Wootton Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Australokaskia (Australokaskia) coulteri by Engel and Morris (1994); it was recombined as Australokaskia coulteri by Vanderlaan and Ebach (2015).
