Taxonomy
Calva (Microcalva) haggarti was named by Saul and Popenoe (1992). Its type specimen is LACMIP 8242 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CIT loc. 1400, Bluff on south side of Fossil Cove, east end of Sucia Island, which is in a Campanian coastal shale in Washington. It is the type species of Calva (Microcalva).
