Oromeryx plicatus
Taxonomy
Oromeryx plicatus was named by Marsh (1894) [genotype]. Its type specimen is YPM 14571, a partial skull (Right maxillary fragment with P* and the lingual portions of M^-M^ ; left maxillary fragment with M^ and the labial portion of M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mouth of White River, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Oromeryx.
