Wainka tshotshe
Taxonomy
Wainka tshotshe was named by Simpson (1935). Its type specimen is Amer. Mus. No. 28505, a tooth (isolated left upper molar (M1 or M2)), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cerro Redondo, c. 37 m above the "Banco Verde" , which is in a Danian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Peñas Coloradas Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Wainka.
