Type specimen: Lo UK ARP 1, a hindwing. Its type locality is Wadi abd el Malik, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian lacustrine claystone in the Tonsteinserie Formation of Egypt.
Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling grazer-herbivore
Distribution: found only at Wadi abd el Malik
